Artist Statement
Something inside of me drives me to paint. Art expresses what is in my heart.When an individual looks at a piece of art, emotions come to the surface, be the joy, sadness, fear, or happiness. For me, the emotion is multiplied many times over. Painting brings me peace; I like to paint things that will make the viewer experience positive feelings. At the end of the day, I know my talent is not from me. I can feel God instructing me as I paint, and it brings me great joy to follow His direction.
